"The Screwtape Letters" - C.S. Lewis
Its a pretty cool book dealing with religion, and christianity and devils. It has some humor, and alot of irony, but its a pretty good book just to read and make your own decision on. Check out your local library to find it.

Personally I think it should be required reading...

A clockwork orange...not so much the book itself but I wonder about the author...how does someone even concoct a book like that?(he practically invented a new language)

A few of mine:
Karl Popper - "The open society and it's enemies".
Douglas Hofstadter - "Godel, Escher, and Bach".
John Gribben - "The search for Schroedinger's kittens".
Ludwig von Mises - "The Anti-Capitalistic Mentality".
Virginia Postrel - "The future and it's enemies".
Lots more, but these are some of my favorites
